Your profile — built from the CV you already have

Aptora reads your CV from a PDF, a screenshot or a phone photo and turns it into a structured profile: positions with dates, education, projects, contact details and the capabilities found in the prose. You review the result, complete it in the editor or in chat and pick a design. For a specific job, you can create a tailored copy — your profile itself stays unchanged.

Import instead of retyping

Aptora writes the content of your CV into a published schema with its own sections for work experience, education, projects, languages, references and more. A date is a date, a position is a position. Screenshots and phone photos are read just like clean PDFs; if a document really is unreadable, Aptora says so instead of making content up. Before the profile is created, you see everything that was read.

Capabilities are detected, not invented

Aptora reads skills from your descriptions, merges spelling variants and knows which capabilities are related. Someone who runs Kubernetes clusters does not have to write down “Docker” separately for matching to take it into account. A detected skill only enters your skill list once you confirm it.

Complete it in the editor or in chat

Every field stays editable in the profile editor. Alternatively, connect your AI assistant to Aptora via MCP and complete your profile in conversation; if it can read documents, it can also prepare a draft from your CV. Files themselves are uploaded in the Aptora app.

Content and design stay separate

Your profile is a structured document; themes decide how it looks. Switch designs as often as you like — the live preview shows a real A4 page. Then export a PDF or share your profile as a link.

One copy per job, your profile stays

For a specific advertisement, Aptora creates a copy of your profile and orders it by what the job asks for. The facts come from your profile only: no new numbers, no invented experience, no dropped positions. If there is nothing worth changing for a job, Aptora says exactly that. Every copy carries the job it was written for and sits under its original in your list.

Frequently asked questions

Which files can I import?

PDF, PNG and JPEG — including screenshots and phone photos of a printed CV. The document is read as a whole, so multi-column layouts and design-heavy templates work too.

Do I need a CV to start?

No. Most people start with their existing CV, but you can just as well build your profile from scratch in the editor or in chat.

Can I correct what was read wrongly?

Yes. The result opens in a review step before anything is saved, and every field stays editable afterwards.

Does tailoring change my profile?

No. It always creates a copy bound to the advertisement. Your profile stays unchanged and is the basis for the next tailored copy. When you apply through Aptora, the copy for that advertisement is what goes out.

Can my AI assistant change my profile without me?

Only within the permissions you grant the MCP connection. Ask to see drafts before saving; the data stays editable in the profile editor. The MCP server does not accept PDF or image files.

What does it cost?

Creating, editing, exporting as PDF and sharing your profile, as well as the MCP connection, are included in every plan, including the free one. Some AI steps such as tailoring belong to the personal plans; details are on the pricing page.

Measuring whether our ads on Google, Meta and LinkedIn work. If you arrive through an ad or a campaign link, a cookie keeps the campaign details from that link, the platform's click ID, the page you landed on and the domain of the referring website. If you register, we store this with your account and report to the platform you came from only the click ID, the event and its value — no e-mail address and no profile data.
